Brick masons skills include:
- Using advanced robotic technology equipment for lifting and placing brick and block
- Sealing foundations, installing flashings, drainage and waterproofing systems.
- Creating brick, CMU, stone buildings, and pathways.
- Trained on forklifts, boom, and scissor lifts.
- Operating saws and cutting equipment
- Performing layout including interpreting calculations, drawings, and details
Marble masons skills include:
- Clean and level the surface for installation.
- Trim, polish and cut marble to specific sizes.
- Arrange granite and marble according to design plans.
- Prepare and apply mortar or other adhesives.
- Install stone, stone cladding, paving stones, countertops, and marble in a planned area.
- Marble masons install materials on a variety of surfaces, such as floors, walls, ceilings, countertops, patios, and roof decks.
- Marble masons cut marble to a specified size with a power wet saw.
- Marble masons trim and polish the marble to a high luster, using power or hand sanders.
